My greatest passion is seeing people grow, whether that be as an individual, or as a part of a team.
I work with teams to build culture that is safe, resilient and dynamic enough to cope with the rapid pace and evolution of the human services sector. I love to mentor and guide young leaders and create opportunities for reflection and growth.
I have dedicated over 26 years to the community sector and have extensive expertise in counselling, group work and leadership. I have worked in both the government and not-for-profit sector with an eclectic experience in domestic and family violence, child protection, mental health support and women’s specialist services.
I intimately understand therapeutic work and working with people to lean into increased self-awareness, change and challenge to become the version of themselves they most want to be.
I also understand the mechanics and nuances of robust team culture and work with teams to establish shared values, best practice and processes alongside healthy boundaries and encouraging self-awareness. I teach the importance of vulnerability, reflection and resilience and how to build them into everyday practice.
I am committed to striving for innovative ways to strengthen an individual practitioner, or a a team’s approach to meeting the unrelenting challenge of working with trauma. I encourage and equip people to embrace the challenges that come with leading and can work with your organisation to assist with growth, change and evolving your team culture to be the best it possible can be.
