i see you.

I acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we live, work and learn. I respect the continuing connection to country, waters, kin and community. I acknowledge the resilience and the strength of First Nations peoples and am committed to walking alongside any journey to healing, reconciliation and connection to culture.

I am an ally and my services are a safe space for everyone.  I stand with, and in support of the LGBTQIA+ community.  I am all about embracing diversity and abhor all forms of discrimination.  There is a seat at my table for all people - always, irrespective of ethnicity, lifestyle choice, faith, sexual orientation and gender identity.  I acknowledge the impact of judgement and hatred and applaud the strength, tenacity and courage of all who have journeyed through these experiences.

Our country is a land of many stories and cultures.  I respect and acknowledge the rich diversity of cultural backgrounds that make up this country and the adversity experienced for some in the journey to this place.

I know that our country reaches beyond our cities and urban centres.  I am committed to providing service to rural and remote areas and acknowledge that the needs of people in the bush are unique and equally as important as those faced in the city.  I grew up in the country and my work in the sector began in rural and remote areas and I'm passionate about providing service to those who often miss out.

Welcome to those of you who don’t feel like you fit “into the box”.  To the neurodiverse, to the outliers, to those who feel invisible and to those who don’t feel like they have a voice.  Welcome also to those who might feel like too much, too visible or like they are taking up too much space.  Welcome to everyone who struggles to know their place.  You are all welcome and valued here, just as you are.  I see you.
